This is the simplified version of Wu Wei Qigong, which is primarily practiced for health and longevity. Although many qigong systems are derived from various Chinese religious systems, this qigong is practiced for the secular benefits of good health, unobstructed flow of qi or energy through the meridians of the body, and meditation. To get the greatest benefit from qigong practice you must make an emotional connection with the body to move the energy. If you do only the physical routines, without the mind /energy connection, the benefits are diminished. This title is divided into five sections: preparation exercises, standing postures, up/down qi circulation, cultivation of sky and earth qi, and sitting meditation postures.
